Y4 Outdoor Camera Lighting
The Y4 outdoor camera includes lighting controls that can be opened from the live-view page or the camera settings screen.
Turn the Light On
Open the live-view page or camera settings, select Auto Lighting, and turn the light on when needed.

Set a Light Schedule
To choose when the light should operate, open the live-view page or settings, select Light Timing, and set the preferred on and off schedule.

Use Motion-Triggered Lighting
For lighting that responds to motion at night, open the live-view page or settings, select Intelligence, then enable Motion detection trigger light.
The listed setting recommends choosing Automatically OFF after 3600s for the light-off timer.

[warning] The Intelligence lighting option does not operate during daytime color viewing. [/warning] [dosdonts] Do: Use Light Timing when you want the Y4 light to follow a schedule. Do: Enable motion-triggered lighting only when nighttime response is needed. Dont: Expect the Y4 Intelligence lighting option to work during daytime color viewing. [/dosdonts]
G6 Light Bulb Camera Modes
The G6 light bulb camera combines lighting and night-vision options. Choose a mode based on the desired light behavior and image appearance.

[compare] Auto Infrared Mode | Turns on infrared lighting automatically in low light. The image changes to black and white. Intelligent Light | Uses infrared mode by default, then turns on white lights after nighttime motion so the image becomes color. Full Color Night | Turns on the lights automatically at night to keep the image in color, then turns them off during the day. Light Timing | Turns the lights on and off according to a selected schedule. All Off Mode | Turns off all light modes for brighter environments while keeping the image in color. [/compare] [tip] Choose the G6 mode based on whether you prefer a black-and-white low-light view, motion-triggered color view, continuous color at night, or scheduled lighting. [/tip]
