Connect the Camera
-
Open the companion app, tap Add Device, then select GALAYOU-Y4/G2/G7/G6.

-
Select Wi-Fi connection by QR code. For the G7 indoor camera, check that the blue light is double-flashing intermittently, then tap Flashing.
Other listed models may show different indicators: Y4 flashes blue and red, while G6 flashes white.

-
Confirm the displayed Wi-Fi name, enter the correct Wi-Fi password, and tap Next.
On Android, if the Wi-Fi name is not displayed, allow the Wansview Cloud app to access location information from the phone's app permissions.

-
Set the phone screen brightness to medium. Hold the camera lens about 3–8 inches in front of the phone so it can scan the QR code shown on the screen.
After hearing the QR code scan confirmation, tap Next.

-
Check the indicator light after connection. A solid blue or white light indicates that the camera is connected. You can then name the camera and begin using it.
