Shared Access lets the camera owner give trusted people access to the GALAYOU G7 Wi-Fi in Wansview Cloud. Shared users can usually view Live View, while playback, two-way audio, movement controls, and other options may depend on the camera, app version, and access rules.
[note] Device Sharing may also appear as Invite Family Members, Invite Family & Friends, Members, or Share Device. [/note]Before Sharing

Sharing is useful for family members, trusted roommates, or someone checking the camera during travel. Each person should use a separate Wansview Cloud account.
[checklist] * The camera owner can open the GALAYOU G7 Wi-Fi in Wansview Cloud * The recipient has installed Wansview Cloud * The recipient has created and signed in to their own account * The recipient is someone you trust with access to the camera view * The owner has reviewed the current shared-member list [/checklist] [reference] Title: Separate Account Text: Each person uses their own account, making access easier to review or remove later. Title: Shared Member Limit Text: The app may limit the number of accounts that can access one camera. Remove an existing member before adding another when the limit is reached. Title: Owner Account Text: The owner usually keeps access to camera settings, recording options, privacy controls, and member management. Title: Shared User Text: A shared user can usually open Live View, while advanced controls may be limited. [/reference] [warning] Do not share the owner account password. Use Device Sharing so access can be removed without changing the main account. [/warning]Share the Camera

Available features can differ between owner and shared accounts.
[compare] Live View | Usually available to shared users for basic monitoring. Alerts | May be available when the shared user enables local app notification preferences. Two-Way Audio | May be available depending on app access rules and camera configuration. Pan or Tilt Controls | May be available when the camera supports movement controls. Playback | May depend on storage, subscription options, and sharing permissions. Camera Settings | Often remain under owner control, especially for recording, privacy, detection, and member changes. [/compare]Manage Shared Members
Review the member list regularly, especially after a change in household access or camera placement.
[step] 1. Open the GALAYOU G7 Wi-Fi settings. 2. Open Device Sharing or Members. 3. Review each account with access. 4. Select a member who no longer needs access. 5. Choose Delete, Remove, or Cancel Sharing. 6. Confirm the change. [/step]When a member limit prevents a new invitation, remove an account that no longer needs access, then send a new invitation to the correct person.
Privacy Habits
[dosdonts] Do: Share only with people you trust to view daily routines and camera activity. Do: Use a strong, unique password for each account. Do: Let each shared user manage their own local notification preferences. Do: Keep motion zones and sensitivity tuned so unnecessary alerts are reduced for everyone. Do: Review shared members after moving the camera, changing household access, adding recordings, or returning from travel. Dont: Reuse the owner account password for another person. Dont: Leave temporary guest access active after it is no longer needed. Dont: Assume every shared account has the same controls as the owner account. [/dosdonts]Basic Sharing Checks
[troubleshoot] Problem: The invitation opens but there is no Receive or Accept option Cause: The recipient may not be signed in to the intended Wansview Cloud account, or the browser session may not be ready. Fix: Sign in to Wansview Cloud first, then reopen the invitation. Try the default browser or reopen the invitation after copying it again. Problem: The recipient accepted the invitation but cannot see the camera Cause: The device list may need to refresh, or the invitation may have been accepted from a different account. Fix: Refresh the device list, close and reopen the app, confirm the signed-in account, and ask the owner to verify that the account appears under Device Sharing or Members. Remove and resend the invitation when needed. Problem: A new member cannot be added Cause: The camera may have reached its shared-member limit. Fix: Review Device Sharing, remove an account that no longer needs access, then send a new invitation. Problem: A shared user can view the camera but cannot use a control Cause: Some features may remain owner-only or depend on the current app version, storage option, or sharing rule. Fix: Check whether the owner account can use the feature, update Wansview Cloud on both devices, and use the owner account for important camera settings. Problem: An invitation was sent to the wrong person Cause: The wrong recipient received or accepted the invitation. Fix: Remove that member immediately in Device Sharing, then send a new invitation directly to the intended person. [/troubleshoot]Shared access is easiest to manage when every person has a separate account and the owner reviews the member list at least once a month.[faq] Q: Can a shared user change important camera settings? A: Access can vary, but recording, privacy, detection, and member settings often remain with the owner account. Q: Why should each person use their own account? A: Separate accounts avoid password sharing and make it easier to remove access for one person later. Q: Can a shared user receive camera alerts? A: This can depend on the available sharing access and the recipient's local notification settings. Q: What should I do after a guest no longer needs access? A: Open Device Sharing or Members and remove that account from the camera. Q: Why does the camera appear in a different area of the app? A: Some app versions place accepted cameras in a Shared Devices or Received Devices section instead of the main device list. [/faq]
