Use these checks when the GALAYOU G7 Wi-Fi is slow to load, temporarily offline, changing networks, or being prepared for a new setup. Start with a simple power cycle before considering a factory reset.
[compare] Power Cycle | Restarts the camera without clearing its saved Wi-Fi connection or normal settings. Useful for temporary connection or Live View delays. Factory Reset | Returns the camera to a setup-ready state and clears its saved configuration. Use only when reconnecting, transferring, or starting a fresh setup is necessary. [/compare]What a Factory Reset Changes
A factory reset commonly clears the camera's saved Wi-Fi details, detection preferences, schedules, and alert settings stored on the device.

Title: Phone Notifications Text: Android notification preferences are usually managed separately on the phone. Title: Cloud History Text: Previously uploaded cloud clips may remain available according to the active cloud storage conditions. Title: microSD Files Text: Existing card files may remain, but storage behavior can vary. Save important clips before resetting or formatting the card. [/reference]When a Fresh Setup Helps

- The camera is being moved to another location or transferred to another person.
- Pairing does not complete after normal connection checks.
- The camera remains unavailable after a restart and a stable network check.
- The device needs to be set up again after a major configuration change.
